The Air Jordan XVI is one of the few models in the series that hasn't been mass produced in retro form, so a look at new colorways and arrangements always makes for an interesting development. Seen here is a sample that recently surfaced on eBay, similar to the Red/White Air Jordan IV we took a look at last month. The two shoes are part of an Air Jordan I-XX3 rainbow-style sample set that will most likely be leaked shoe by shoe in the coming weeks.
Like the aforementioned IV sample, this XVI features an anodized synthetic upper in a hue similar to the Dark Neon Royal used on the Air Foamposite One. Contrasting white detailing has been added to the tongue, laces, inner lining, Jumpman branding and midsole, while a predominantly translucent outsole wraps things up below.
As mentioned, these are part of a limited set that is not scheduled for a release. This rare sample is currently being sold by brokeonjordans on eBay.
