If FedEx shows it was delivered, call Adidas and say they sent you the wrong item and they will ship you another one. Just be prepared to say what was the item you recieved, and they will say something about shipping it back.
I did this with Nike before when my items were stolen and when they shipped me the wrong items. One time I ordered some shorts and they shipped me some socks and I called and I just kept the socks.
