They're the safest r&b act of all time. They're the blonde prom queen and her big black buck half back in audio form. Super trash group.

:why: :why:they were a throwback/modern day version of groups from the 50's 60's breh.:myman:

That group Solo tried to come in and do the same but failed, them and a handful of other groups. B2M had a machine behind them though.

i agree :to:

a couple more albums that i forgot to mention that i've enjoyed over the last few years have been from mint condition. those guys are legends in my book

of course everybody know all their classic earlier albums but their more recent music is really good too; all 3 of their of their last 3 albums; "e-life", "7".... and "at the speed of life" are all really good albums. those guys are masters at their craft. they the most underrated r&b group of the 90's to me

i made an appreciation thread for them in the locker room a few months back :obama:
http://www.thecoli.com/threads/mint...eatest-bands-of-any-genre-of-all-time.268665/

these guys are so underrated it ain't even funny :ohlawd:

each of these songs below are from each of the 3 albums "e-life", "7...." and "at the speed of life" in order of how i listed each album too

smooth as hell :wow:

:russ: at "cole" from martin in this 1st music video. but the music though :wow:

:mjcry:

Stokley is one of the most underrated singers period. He sounds like stevie wonder at times to me

I enjoyed New Jack Swing B2M, MotownPhilly is a classic, all the other stuff was waaaaaaay too soft to me, like Jodeci made tracks you could ride around to AND listen to with your lady in the bedroom. And Devante and Dalvin are two of the most talented musicians of the 90s regardless of genre imo

Boyz 2 Men you can play with your family and be good. Plus their music is timeless and can be played from generation to generation.

LOL @ words like corny being thrown around. We're talking about R&B, not rap. Singing nice songs to ladies is a good thing. The funny thing is, Jodeci was singing about raising families too. They just dressed more hip-hop and acted like they were more smoove. What we're saying is, we fell for the fake, but shyt on the technically proficient group from Philly that was beloved world-wide because they weren't hood enough. Its a black thang I guess.

Damn shame that people got too caught up with the ruffneck image of the 90's and wanted to be a Tupac wannabe to appreciate classic groups like Boyz 2 Men.

I fukkin HATE R&B of today.

Singers cussing over rap beats.

Bu bu but bytches be twerking to them beats in the club

It's sad, breh

Even sadder is we have idiots on here defending that vulgar "R&B" of the new age

If you give these ADD crack babies a Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye or an Al Green album, they probably call them lame. All they want is trap beats from Chris Brown.

man i was jus thinkin bout this the other day

its like these fools got blacklisted

for how many records they sold, i NEVER hear these guys on LA radio like eva. no oldies stations, no throwback,s nothing. its like they never existed out here

:lupe:

Positive black music got blacklisted because it is powerful. They want to elevate all that kind of music, like how these old heads did Public Enemy back in the day.

Todays "r&b" songs LITERALLY starts off with gunshot sound fx:scust:

Seriously? R&B been reduced to violent trap music? :snoop:

They did that to Public Enemy as well in Hip-Hop. Erase all the positive and talented black artists and flood the radio with trash.
Yep. The intelligence, love and soul in black music is now non-existant. To treat the black woman with ANY type of respect is now deemed corny and lame. Positivity was PURPOSELY taken out of our music to influence our subconcious and to keep us remained in shackles mentally. On a deeper level, todays music is playing a role in our own self-hate. Meanwhile music like this floods our airwaves:

Bu but that what the streets like. We gotta like what the females and the streets like to have swag. :lupe:

Lupe Fiasco spoke out against this plenty of times.
