i agree :to:

a couple more albums that i forgot to mention that i've enjoyed over the last few years have been from mint condition. those guys are legends in my book

of course everybody know all their earlier albums but their more recent music is really good too; all 3 of their of their last 3 albums; "e-life", "7".... and "at the speed of life" are all really good albums. those guys are masters at their craft. they the most underrated r&b group of the 90's to me

these guys are so underrated it ain't even funny :ohlawd:

each of these songs below are from each of the 3 albums "e-life", "7...." and "at the speed of life" in order of how i listed each album too

smooth as hell :wow:

:russ: at "cole" from martin in this 1st music video. but the music though :wow:

:mjcry:

All these songs would have been hits in the 90's

I always thought they were a little too corny. I did like a few songs. I think Motown Philly and It's So Hard remake was about it for me. I more into Jodeci and R Kelly back in those days.

What about Color Me Badd though:patrice:

LOL @ words like corny being thrown around. We're talking about R&B, not rap. Singing nice songs to ladies is a good thing. The funny thing is, Jodeci was singing about raising families too. They just dressed more hip-hop and acted like they were more smoove. What we're saying is, we fell for the fake, but shyt on the technically proficient group from Philly that was beloved world-wide because they weren't hood enough. Its a black thang I guess.

I listen to alot of old-school r&b type stations when i can, and i NEVER hear their music. They got classics. Like, forreal i cant remember the last time i heard a Boys II Men song on the radio. Its almost like they never happened:mjcry:

They did that to Public Enemy as well in Hip-Hop. Erase all the positive and talented black artists and flood the radio with trash.

They did songs about love in a traditional way

Jodeci came along and everybody jumped on that wave so now all R& B is soft core rap and all the songs are about hooking up
And fukking

There's no families just baby mommas & dudes (nikkas ain't even baby daddies no more)
If you can't play it in a club then these kids now ain't trying to hear it

ReaL R&B died in like '03- '05

They fukked our black artists that are positive and reduced us as baby mama's and baby daddy's. :pacspit:

Damn.

Sucks for some of yall. They still get some play round here.

Although, these days, radio is not all that anymore. That Aux cord/USB life is the move these days. Play all the Boys II Men you want
