for as talented as they were, there was only a few songs by them that i liked in the 90's :yeshrug:

this probably my favorite song by them (babyface is a genius!)

i liked this

this is mariah's song but they were great on it

Classics.

I was in my mother belly when this was released. :wow:

They're actually still pretty big in other parts of the world.

Just not here in America. :francis:

I went to go see them in concert last summer in Miami, and it was a pretty big and diverse crowd. Much bigger than I expected.

Their classics had the crowd in the palm of their hand, but once they got into the "here's some stuff off of our new album" part of the concert people started filing for the exits.

I fukkin HATE R&B of today.

Singers cussing over rap beats.

preach brother @Buckeye Fever :wow:

last few r&b albums i really liked was maxwell's blacksummer'snight, joe's signature, d'angelo's black messiah, babyface & toni braxton's love, marriage and divorce and raphael saadiq's stone rollin' album :ohlawd: oh yeah and teedra moses' ep california vibes :wow:

but with that said, r&b really don't even existent no more :to:
Todays "r&b" songs LITERALLY starts off with gunshot sound fx:scust:

damn, even tank has gone this route?! :snoop:

i'm far from the biggest tank and i've never heard an album of his before but i did think his song "maybe i deserve" was aight :yeshrug:

yea, he sold out big time. He recently went on twitter and ranted about how people aren't buying and supporting r&b acts anymore. That video i posted dropped around the same time. Tank is a talented dude. Excellent song writer. When i heard that song i was HIGHLY disappointed in him.

It's sad, breh

Even sadder is we have idiots on here defending that vulgar "R&B" of the new age

i agree :to:

a couple more albums that i forgot to mention that i've enjoyed over the last few years have been from mint condition. those guys are legends in my book

of course everybody know all their classic earlier albums but their more recent music is really good too; all 3 of their of their last 3 albums; "e-life", "7".... and "at the speed of life" are all really good albums. those guys are masters at their craft. they the most underrated r&b group of the 90's to me

i made an appreciation thread for them in the locker room a few months back :obama:

these guys are so underrated it ain't even funny :ohlawd:

each of these songs below are from each of the 3 albums "e-life", "7...." and "at the speed of life" in order of how i listed each album too

smooth as hell :wow:

:russ: at "cole" from martin in this 1st music video. but the music though :wow:
