i speak facts not emotions
jodeci boyz 2 men and new edition
Soul IV Real came thru and crushed the buildings
I'm an admitted S4R stan![]()
3 songs
Jodeci got Come and Talk to Me, Stay, Forever My Lady, Feenin, Cry for You, Freek'n You and Love U 4 Life, etc...
R. Kelly got Sex Me, Bump n Grind, Your Body's Callin, You Remind Me of Something, Down Low, I Can't Sleep, I Believe I Can Fly, When a Woman;s Fed Up, etc...
Boyz II Men is like Tony Toni Tone, classics and popular
but when brought up against the true GOATs of the 90s R&B scene, they just don't compare
they not fukking with Jodeci and R. Kelly, and people like that
They like A Ranks while Jodeci, R. Kelly an them are S Rank
they above A
they also don't have no 12 Play, "R. Kelly", Forever My Lady, Diary of a Mad Band, What's the 411?...
They still hold the record for the longest charting #1 record.
quality over quantity.
Water Runs Dry, It's Hard to Say Goodbye and End of the Road are the only ones i've heard prior to checking out their discography
let's put it like this, Boyz II Men isn't as recognizable as other people because their songs aren't as iconic i guess
i could play my little brother Come and Talk to Me, Feenin, Freek'n You and Love U 4 Life and he could sing along
i could play him some Mary J. he could sing along. same with R. Kelly
a lot of songs from them
but out of Boyz II Men he could only sing along to End of the Road
i guess Boyz II Men aged badly, but IMO they don't have albums or songs as good as the best from 90s Jodeci, 90s R. Kelly and 90s Mary J.
those 3 also have music more recognizable to younger people, who doesn't know Bump N Grind?
but ask most teens to recite some Boyz II Men it's not happening
but they still are Amazing, have classic album(s) and songs
the songs i named were both
they were all as good or better than B2M's best
Yesloved the first album. was their second album slept on?
