You're brain washed. Where are the NBA players protesting? Do they not care about black issues? You're just a NBA stan who doesn't watch football. That is fine, but don't act like you're taking a stand. NBA stans supporting NBA players who don't care about black issues :russ:

And the NFL only black balled him because red necks and military red necks misinterpreted Kaeps stance and complained. How about you go after those red necks? They're the real problem here, not the NFL.

Me boycotting an organization that offends my black sensibilities doesn't affect you, family. Enjoy your football and leave me alone lol.

NBA players have never addressed social issues? :mjpls:

misinterpreted? :mjpls:

rednecks are the real problem, not the NFL :mjpls:

No need to be confused, breh

Who said never?:mjpls:
You dudes are shytting on nfl players for not protesting, but i don't see NBA players protesting. NBA stans think only NFL players can stand up for black people :russ:
Where are the nba players?

NFL has its issues, but the black ball is a direct result of red neck bytching. They misinterpretated kaeps stance and don't like the kneeling, and their ignorance cost Kaep a job. White people need to be aware of what is really going on in this country. Or maybe they do know, and don't care? that is the real problem.

you dudes boy cotting are just nba stans. Call out the nba players for not doing shyt.

Call out the NBA for allowing Sterling to get away with all this shyt

In February 2003, the Housing Rights Center of Los Angeles filed a housing discrimination case against Sterling on behalf of 18 tenants. The lawsuit featured several racist statements allegedly made by Sterling to employees, such as that "black people smell and attract vermin" and "hispanics just smoke and hang around the building" as well as Sterling's alleged intent to rent only to Korean tenants because "they will pay the rent and live in whatever conditions I give them". Part of the HRC case's resolution included U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer awarding the plaintiffs' attorney $4.9 million in attorneys fees. While the final terms for the plaintiffs were confidential, the judge said the fees were justified as the settlement obtained by the plaintiffs against Sterling was one of the largest of its kind and the public benefit terms were significant and wide-ranging.

In 2006, the U.S. Department of Justice then sued Sterling for housing discrimination for using race as a factor in filling some of his apartment buildings. The suit charged that Sterling refused to rent to non-Koreans in the Koreatown neighborhood and to African Americans in Beverly Hills.[101] In November 2009, ESPN reported that Sterling agreed to pay a fine of $2.7 million to settle claims brought by the Justice Department and Davin Day of Newport Beach[citation needed] that Sterling engaged in discriminatory rental practices against Hispanics, blacks, and families with children.[102]

In my opinion, Black people should stop watching all sports, they're all trash and add no real value to our lives.

:manny:
We should also stop going to church and the club..

If we got rid of Jesus, Sports and partying for an entire generation I think we would make unprecedented strides as a people.

But it's really hard to let go of the escapism that these entities provide. So much tradition and good feelings wrapped up in this sh1t. It's all drugs.

This post is pretty disingenuous because it completely ignores the other side where the "boycott NFL" Posters are calling everyone that choose to watch the NFL c00ns.

Why is this thread stickied but the thread that about boycotting the NBA because players were not allowed to protest the national anthem deleted?

Why are there not any NFL threads stickied like in the past?

If y'all wanna boycott the NFL then fine but the board shouldn't clearly be pushing an agenda.

The NBA blackballed a player that protested the anthem in the past.

The NBA had a blatantly racist owner that was openly practicing white Supremacy for decades but only did something when it could no longer be hidden.

So what exactly is thecoli mods and people in charge really trying to accomplish by pushing the NFL Boycott and not any other efforts to protest and usher change?

There have been movements of black people only supporting black businesses for Black Friday in the name of police brutality and unjust laws in the TLR the last 2 years. Those threads were never stickied. No one was ever called a c00n for not signing up for the cause.
@Houston911 he has a point. This board is not sticking NFL threads on purpose. What you said is very hypocritical. I love you though brother, you know that. :dame: But he right.

Still couldn't answer the question, just as I thought.
The reason this thread is funny to me is because I came in here thinking it was a cause. I heard dudes saying they skipped football for the following reaons
1.) Working out
2.) Getting some head and sex
3.) Playing BasketBall
4.) Playing video games
5.) Going out to eat (At a white establishment)

As someone who actually puts in WORK for my community and people, these kind of boycotts are pointless to me. 90% of the people who do it, only do because they read it on facebook or somewhere online. It makes them feel like they are "about the cause" then they run in here like "hey guys! I didn't watch football! See I'm fighting for the struggle of our people"

Where is @Willstyles a brother who I tried to work with on causes in real life in the past. I ask any brother who is really about that action, to pm me if you are near Atlanta. Next Sunday during football, we will go put in work. I will do it for the remainder of the season. I will show you what giving back means and empowering our community means. Pm me brahs

I'm sitting here thinking like the "cause" that has caught our communities attention, more than any other I am hearing about is a damn football player. A multi millionaire football player, who is in his mansion eating lobster. Not these kids, not the ex-offenders trying to get back into society, not the underserved. Our attention is on fukking Kapernick.

Now hold on a sec, I understand people protesting for Kaep, and I support him too.

But their are other more pressing matters that need more attention
