Why the NFL only recruit white boys to serve as quarter backs and brains behind it all?? Thats the biggest injustice and insult imo.

That in and of itself is disgusting ......and I and every other football fan know this is a cultural realization certainly at the pro level.....bout 10-15 black qb's can be named since the 80's in the NFL.....they actually used to say blacks are the athletes and cacs are the "thinkers"..."can't teach em' playbooks".....until pc requirements came in.....

For football fans to actually act as tho the NFL is not a white male supporting platform is COMEDY....and nauseating. Look statistically at the penalties handed down from R. Goodell and his predecessors you will see the evidence......it is a "we'll pay, but keep the black men in line league"......no sport league is that entertaining to continue to support without some cultural change demanded.

What am I boycotting?
I'm boycotting the NFL an organization that told me a player protesting unarmed police killing of black men is divisive to the country, unpatriotic, and unacceptable to them.
they won't get a dollar from me anymore in terms of attention to their product or licensed merchandise.
Kaepernick exposed them, but even if he got put on a team I wouldn't care, I'm phasing that corporation out of my life and right now I don't see a way my stance will change in my lifetime.

1.)If the league slips, why would they cut players? Will they stop playing 11 on 11?

If you're not boycotting their sponsors then the rest of this post is null and void because you are SUPPORTING the NFL by buying or using anything made or sold by:

Microsoft, Ford, Hyundai, Busch, McDonalds, FedEx, Frito Lay, Under Armor, Bridgestone, Verizon...etc etc.

If you pay for any of that (and the list goes on and on) the NFL is getting a piece of your dollar.

You not watching literally DOES NOT affect the NFL at all. It hurts the broadcasting networks, but they have already paid the NFL up front for the right to broadcast.

But the NBA was a decade plus when the last time they shut out a player due to his stance during the National Anthem. Yet they STILL have that rule in effect. But I presume would watch the NFL again as time expires with the logic you're claiming.

I'm black. I also listen to a lot of sports radio (unfortunately). Sports radio has always been driven by white male resentment, but it has really ramped up over the protests. A lot of white people have an automatic, negative reaction to any discussion of race. They feel they're being accused of something and react like a guilty suspect. Even with the Bennett story this week, so much of the convo I heard on the radio was from angry white men doubting his story even after the video confirmed it.

So much of the resentment boils down to the fact that the league is full of black men being paid millions to play a game. So you hear all this dumb shyt like "just play sports I don't want to hear your opinions." Dance for me, basically. People are MAD. And to be honest, the product itself isn't that good so a lot of older white dudes are just tuning out. The NFL needs to really make the product better, specifically by cutting down commercials.
