You are right I'm not boycotting their sponsors, I'm boycotting them.
No going to mcDonalds doesn't give money to the NFL (I don't go to McDonalds by the way), that money goes to the franchise owner and they pay their license fee and costs.
That said the money the NFL can command from them is ultimately based on the number of eyes the NFL can draw.
So you can feel free to boycott the NFL how you want, if you want to not support sponsors fine do it.
I simply won't give the NFL my money directly or contribute to their viewership that they use to pull in ad money.

Like I said before though, if you don't want to boycott, don't. I haven't attacked you for not doing so.

I supported Kap and his position(s), the league and their owners blackballed him, hence I stopped supporting the league.

No viewership, No video games ( Madden), no going to games.

Keep in mind, most of the people boycotting here would go back to watching football if they got what they wanted. What you're doing is not a boycott so don't overstate your importance to this issue. -Short term? Sponsors, sponsors, SPONSORS. Sponsors are fickle. They care about $$ first, but their image is a close second. Disassociate yourself with anything sponsored by the NFL. Feel free to let those companies know exactly what your reasoning is. Don't buy a Ford or a Hyundai. Quit drinking gatorade and eating Lays. Kick Verizon to the curb, don't buy anything from Microsoft, and cancel your Sirius XM. When they ask why, tell them you don't support the NFL in any way. If you can get 8.9 million people (this is the same amount we hypothetically got to stop attending games earlier) to cancel their Sirius XM, trade their Fusion for an Accord, and tell the guy at Best Buy to get that Surface the hell out my face... You cooking with grease now #boycott brehs.

Long term? Keep your kids out of football. Don't glorify it. Teach them that it turns your brain into swiss cheese.
