Bruh, This shyt is only being propped up on here because the anti NFL the NBA is GOATZ crew have power on this board and they are propping up this "Boycott" because they think it diminishes football and makes the NBA matter more.

Ask @Datcrud what happen to his BOYCOTT the NBA thread he made after it was revealed the NBA does not allow protest of the anthem

@-o3- Made the NBA thread but yeah I get your point.

I will have to remake the NBA thread before the season starts. I just cant leave it at NFL. The NFL is Trump like racism...out front. NBA is Hillary like racism out front as well but its presented in a way that makes simple minded folks think the NBA is not racist.

So we got work to do.

How about instead of watching football today, you go volunteer somewhere and put in some work for the underserved? Just a thought.

Great thought. Feed the homeless volunteer somewhere join a group that is addressing your communities needs.

I really want to help prisoners. There is a abolitionist group here in Texas I want to join trying to end prison slavery.

Keep up the good ideas.

"1 dimensional thinking" :laff:

I already know why you mad, you're the one who made the thread bragging about the boycott accomplishments of trump supporters :russ: Now you so upset that you gotta just make shyt up

You can mince words with your reasoning all you want, in the end you're advancing a boycott they started with racist intentions a year ago. #MAGA #BOYCOTTNFL #SHUTITDOWN

All that rage over a piece of cloth and an anthem written by a slave owner, but not a care in the world with black unarmed black people getting gunned down by cops without punishment. Not a care in the world about systemic racism or really any injustice that affects people of colour. Then can all go fukk themselves. shallow thinkers.

I work with the ex-offender population, helping them transition back into society. I'm working with a former co-worker on giving counseling inside of the prison as well and hope that comes to fruition soon. There are a lot of great causes that can use you, mine and our help. I see a lot of "I'mma go play ball"or "I'm bout to go eat" posts but go do something that really helps the cause besides trying to prove a point to billionaires, who don't really give a fukk. We should all actually put in work.

This Football Player Fought for Civil Rights in the '60s. Here's What He Thinks About National Anthem Protests

Having participated in that boycott, what do you think of NFL players' refusal to stand for the national anthem?

I would have told Colin Kaepernick a long time ago that his approach right now may not be the most sensible approach to the problem that we have. My take on that is, you get with your leaders within your community, the black community, and discuss the most apt way to approach the protest and do it from a collective standpoint. And right now, the best thing you can do is play football, earn the money, save the money and put yourself in a position so you can help the cause on a long-term basis.

p

I remember lying in bed watching the Selma march on TV and getting up and calling Al Davis [the Oakland Raiders coach]. I said, "I gotta go, I need to be there with my people on the front lines." Al said, "During the off-season you can do that, but let’s send them some money now. Who do you know who's involved with this thing?" I knew someone who directed me to Martin Luther King's West Coast physician, and we wrote a check to the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

Yeah that is where this movement has to end up us getting out of our homes and helping our community.

Either you are working on starting your own business to employ and empower your own.

Or you are volunteering to help your community.

Either way I'm about to get up out the house for a min.

What about going outside of police stations and protesting?

nah thats just a waste of time and steps...You had a better idea earlier by helping the youth or those fresh out the bing....All that protesting stuff is dead.
