There was a thread in TLR made when the DC Million man March was held in 2015. During the event an initiative was proposed to do a boycott where black people would only shop at black businesses during the holiday season to protest the outbreak of police brutality that year.

It was public, it was irl instead of an online movement, it was as mainstream as a problack movement can get, it had support from celebrities.
