Yeah MI is a great summer action flick. They definitely released it at the right time.
I swear Skyscraper was only in my local theater for like a week :skip:

Pooh really should have just been 3d or they should have got... way cuter puppets.

Anyone know if Never Goin Back is getting a wide release?

Completely random but I find the top 10 of 1993 kind of fascinating.

50% of them based off novels but overall such adult films

1. Jurassic Park Universal $914,691,118[2]
2. Mrs. Doubtfire 20th Century Fox $441,286,195
3. The Fugitive Warner Bros. $368,875,760
4. Schindler's List Universal $321,306,305
5. The Firm Paramount $270,248,367
6. Indecent Proposal $266,614,059
7. Cliffhanger TriStar $255,000,211
8. Sleepless in Seattle $227,799,884

Yeah, the numbers for Meg were :leon:

https://ew.com/

Almost $45 mil for the opening weekend. People love sharks I guess and it seemed like silly, dumb fun for a summer movie based on the trailers. Surprised it cost around $130 mil to produce, CGI on the shark costing that much :lupe:

MI barely at 160. Probably end up just over 200. WW IDK...MEG did well!
MI is having incredible drops. It could easily leg out another 60-70 million.

Rogue nation made $195M domestic at the end.

So far this is $22M ahead of where rogue nation was at the same point and it’s made more every day it’s been out in comparison so the gap has been growing between the two.

MI2 is the highest grossing in the franchise domestically at $215M and this is ahead of that one as well at the same point and grossing more daily.
