Breh that's the thing that's crazy about it. The flick hasn't even been out for a month yet. Not even close to a month. By the time it's out for a full month, who knows how large that total is going to be. There's really no stiff competition for it until February.

I feel like its all gravy at this point man. Like how can you be disappointed that you don't have the highest grossing film of all time? It's already broken records, already made its production costs back tenfold, and they barely had to spend a penny marketing it because everyone wanted to partner with them...i used google maps yesterday and my car was an x-wing breh
they got google to advertise for them through google fukkin maps. And that's just one tendril of their reach for this shyt. And that's money that goes to them. Google, HP, whomever else they got, all of their ad partners paid them to advertise the movie, which is the greatest hustle in the world if you can pull it off. It costs 200 million to produce and lets say another 50-100 million to advertise..they made that back in 5 days.
boyega has a clause in his contract that if the movie makes a billion domestic he has to receive dome from daisey ridley dressed up as minnie mouse
That might be possible. It'll be in theaters for at least another month maybe two. And I can see them doing a rerelease before it hits home video

because it's the first real starwars flick in 30 years made in an era of inflation and 3D. As said many times the sequels aren't going to be the behemoth event this was so if SW can't touch avatar what can?
