They’re re-signing their own guys. The second apron penalties won’t kick in till next year and the year after where it starts to get really punitive

I imagine they’re looking at it like a 3-4 year window to win titles so they’ll run the team back as many times as they can - unless the owner they sell the team to wants to cut costs to get under the second apron(kinda hard to do and field a competitive team when Brown and Tatum are gonna be making $100M AAV soonish just on their own)
