the defense part was bullshyt but he was spot on about Porter's shots being "hidden" or "smothered" in a sense... Porter controlled the ring tho... and his chin is just :wow:
Yea that might shake Keith's confidence knowing that his shots can be eatin'....I saw a lil weakness in his game ...most notably his jab....it is virtually non-existent:martin:

:comeon:Nobody thought Maidana beat Mayweather
You are remembering wrong. There were a lot of people who incorrectly thought Maidana won the fight just because he was aggressive and mauled Floyd.
That's why we got that unnecessary rematch.

How ? He rocked Porter 4 times and was always landing the cleaner shots lol. Porter got worked even when they were slugging.
He was being outworked almost all rounds, Porter worked better to the body and overall I think the fight rather looked how Porter imagined than Thurman.

Outworking the opponent, impose your will and many not that clean shot > few but clean counters which rock the opponent but don't knock him down :manny:

Thurman couldn't get Porter off him, nor could he outwork him, or could he KDd him. Porter won this for me even if he fought as awkward and ugly as he usually does.

hella international
Thurman's power sapped over the course of the fight due to fatigue. Porter has a good chin, but he was HURT very early on.

There was a point from about RD4-6 where it seemed like Thurman was gaining control of the fight, but Porter made great adjustments just as Keith was starting to get his timing down. I could never be mad at a decision rewarding either fighter tonight, they truly turned in a great performance.

Truthfully I thought Thurman won more convincingly than Brook

I gotta rewatch it, because I remember Brook handling the pressure fairly well and lining Porter up with the 1-2 consistently. Keith certainly had to dig deeper to make it through 12 imo.
