I never hear no diaspora wars in real life

Most black Americans live by black Americans and they don't kno or think about Africans or carribean

Unless u in a few states in the north east or south east

Ur not interacting with carribean or Africans

Black Americans simply don't want folks from other groups to pretend our history is there's for personal gain

Other than that we not beefing with Africans or carribean

We really don't even kno them

OP take that stupid tweet off. She post that after #ADOS American Descendants of Slavery, a movement for reparations, has been literally trending multiple times in the past week. Check below and click the image it got cropped out of the tweet.

What makes you so sure she's anti-ADOS?

All I know she post a 'random' tweet about so-called diaspora war when ADOS is trending right now recently.
Her reframing this as a both sides issue is suspect. Even more suspect with her being a Somali from Minnesota where they made fun of George Floyd.

Also her joke is laced lowkey with anti Black American sentiment imo.
And gives fuel to anti ADOS movement people by confusing the issue.

Also notice how no one jokes about Black Puerto Rican, Black Latinos speaking a "colonizer language" of Spanish or having Slave master last names like Martinez even though they are Black...

Are you taking pride in your last name from a European slave master or something?
Y'all really falling for Pan Africanist babble?

@MustafaSTL Don't waste your time.

Be extremely wary of anyone who uses 'Pan-African' pejoratively, they rather assimilate further than question the political and cultural status quo. At first, I was reluctant to speak against these types because I am 100% behind all forms of reparations for African Americans, but this online movement has nothing to do with wanting to improve the material conditions of Black people. It's a honeypot for naive, frustrated mfs that want to take the easy way out, legitimately embarrassed it took me this long to realize.

English is a cac language. Spanish is a cac language. :manny:

These are just facts. Sucks that someone you dislike said it, but it is what it is.

I'm sorry that this makes the ADOS vs. Africans narrative look overall gutless and serves no benefit to either side to continue it.

Technically English is derived from Hieroglyphics. Because the later eventually became the Phoenician alphabet which later became Latin. So really we're speaking an African derived language.

You were hesitant to comment because your analysis is faulty and needs some work imo.

Modern Pan Africanist ideology currently has it's pitfalls in having native Born Black Americans deprioritize themselves while allowing other Black ethnic groups to disrespect them because of having American or English surnames.

You can't say ADOS movement has nothing to do with reparations when the reason that reparations movement has reached its farthest heights so far in the contemporary context is because of the ADOS movement advocacy and political pressure online and off.

I think you should reconsider how a blind allegiance and many times a superfifical allegiance to a certain type of modern Pan Africanism has it's drawbacks to native born Black Americans.

These hashtags nikkas been showing their asses and switching up to these "thank God the white man took me out the jungle" c00nish narratives for a minute. In the past week I seen these dudes say this, the white admixture and native American ancestry of "ados people," psuedo science about the difference in head shapes and hairlines and skin tones of "Africans and ados," and a whole load of other fake bourgeoise fukkery, including now openly calling Africans "savages" and making false accusations of Africans attacking "ados people" like a bunch of pearl clutching cacs.

It took me a while to realize how schizophrenic these folks are, but yes, they really do believe they belong to a culturally, physically, and intellectually superior, English speaking bourgeoise class of the black community.

The ADOS vs Africans narrative is largely bullshyt I agree. But the "gutlessness" comes from weak native Black Americans who allow the disrespect imo.

NO ONE shyts on Afro Latinos or Jamaicans or Haitians for eating "Slave food" or having French or Spanish last names or speaking the "white man's" language. Only jokes on Native Black Americans.

But hey enjoy the corny Somali chick's tweet, she still won't let you taste it. Lmao
