Everything about this movie is average aka mid. Average characters. Average story. Average action. Average script. Nothing about it stood out.

The comedy was weak. I literally only heard one laugh in the entire theater.

They fukked in by not making the hunt the main goal for the film. If they did it like Smokin Aces it *might* have been slightly better.

I really enjoyed playing part 1 and 2 and this movie felt nothing like them. They didn’t even focus on the guns and various ammo.

So apparently there was a lot of violence and was gonna be rated R, but studio execs interfered and had Tim Miller reshoot some stuff and tame it. Surprise surprise.

Those idiots deserve this massive flop.

It probably would have worked better as a high end tv series... stretch the lore out, flesh out the characters, show more of the world, the zany guns, stuff like that

I am not a gamer so I could understand core gamers nitpicking.

I'm unsure if the story is radically different from the movie to the game (aside from the cast) but I don't underastand the hate for the movie.

I thought it was very enjoyable with an easy to follow story. Claptrap was THE funniest thing (again,l unsure how true that character is to the lore of video games)
