They're a bytch of an exercise but I genuinely feel they're more efficient in building glutes than squats. Decent for quads/abductors and helps flexibility as well.I feel this way about the Bulgarian split squat. Stupid fukkin uncomfortable exercise
My little sister started going to the gym with me at one point because she was on this wave. In a couple months she was repping leg presses at 5 and 6 plates. Most of the dudes in there couldn’t rep that. Anything to try to fill out some jeans. I made her do other exercises though cause she wasn’t about to be focuses on just that with my help. Gotta mix it upHyperbole breh....the point is that women tend to be closer to men in leg strength naturally without training but further away in upper body strength.
That plus the love of big booty, drives women to develop their legs much more than their upper body. See broads with chicken wing arms but big ol hamhock legs. They can start at a decent weight for leg exercises but damn near gotta use the girly dumbbells for curls, shoulder presses etc.
Unless you asked em specifically you are just guessing. There isn’t much carryover between something like a leg press and a barbell squat. I rarely do em, but personally I stop at 4plates because a leg press PR doesn’t do anything for me.My little sister started going to the gym with me at one point because she was on this wave. I’ve seen less than 10 women squat 2 plates or more in the ten years I’ve been in the gym . Also, they were on the powerlifting wave
I worked out with them and went to church with a lot of them (the gym is connected to my church). I know.Unless you asked em specifically you are just guessing. Then your sample size is way too small pleighboiI worked out with them and went to church with a lot of them (the gym is connected to my church). I know.
I also didn’t imply the two were the same. But they both require leg strength which is what post I was quoting was referencing…. Women’s leg strength.
nikka you retarded? That shyt is all natural. She ain't got that ass because of gym.
Keep lying for that bag.
Most people in the gym’s leg strength is trash. My sample size is fine. Are you really trying to suggest that average gym goer is repping 6 plates on the leg press? Then your sample size is way too small pleighboi
The post you quoted is brah. Which is why I mentioned there is very little carry over. He casually threw out a woman’s deadlift max being what they are repping on squats
Here’s a strength standards calculator to further add credence to my point.

Who said that she wasn't natural? Learn to read.nikka you retarded? That shyt is all natural.
Can't tell a fake booty from a real one brehs

Ok guy… all of your posts are full of assumptions that you essentially pulled out of your ass to give you someone to argue with, lol. You can stop talking to me now. I’m sure there are others in this thread who care more about the topic.Initially you co-signed a wildly exaggerated claim that actual gym goers in this thread were laughing at ( @Son Goku )
You proceeded to do a disservice to your sisters gains by comparing them to a group of frail, unmotivated MALE church friends that work out at the church gym as if that is a sufficient sample size.
A 6plate leg press is NOT a notable point to a slightly motivated male gym goer
I do them after the workout
