fukk yes.

It's minor, but I've always been a little upset that there was no Boondocks episode to parody :dame:, or the Birdman Breakfast Club incident. You know that would've been at least one good episode.

Good to see McGruder is involved again, though. I always felt like his involvement was always the difference between the show laughing WITH black culture, and laughing AT black culture.

The Boondocks ended in 2014, I think those incidents happened afterwards, in 2016.

Not sure how I feel. If he makes it like he used too blavities, sjws, right wingers, etc are all going to be pissed and will try to get it off air.

If he makes a mild version then it won’t be good. Will be interesting how this show plays in the woke era.

This was my initial thought too. People forgot how offensive Boondocks was. But I think the large nostalgic fan base will give them a pass. Similar to Chapelle. Hope he doesn’t go mild tho.

I know. I was saying that it would've been cool to see what they did with either of those moments. There's been a ton of stuff that's happened in the last five years that would be prime content for The Boondocks.

Are y'all new to Boondocks? I mean if you followed Boondocks back in the days when it was a Sunday Morning Newspaper Comic Strip and read it books back in the day you would know Aaron is about the shyts when it comes to our plight, fight in America. He's bringing the shyts

Why y'all think he left The Cartoon in season 4 they tried to water him down and he was like fukk y'all

Boondocks in all honesty wasn’t THAT offensive. The only people who raised any type of fuss were Jesse Jackson (par for the course) Tyler Perry and Reginald Hudlin. Boondocks was “real talk” done right

Supposedly the new Huey design.... :patrice:

I bet the animation quality isn't as good as the old series. Probably done by a US studio like titmouse or some shyt.

I'm cool with it if it means the episodes can get out faster and be more topical. The Boondocks took twice as long to do a single episode as most animated shows (two years vs one year).
