im trying to learn how to cook so ive been reading books about cooking fundamentals and principles. so far ive read the 4 hour chef by tim ferriss (didnt find it all that helpful but i got some good tips from it) and i just bought one on the kindle called "what the 4 hour chef didnt tell u"

That looks interesting, what is it about?

It's the true story of the man that Count of Monte Cristo and Three Musketeers was based off of. Basically, the author's father was a mulatto from Haiti who ended up becoming a famous general for the French Army. I don't want to give too much away but its extremely interesting and a wonderful look into what the world was like back then it even goes into the intricate geo political puzzle between Europe and the Americas somewhat.
