I dont mind it. Plus alot of my reading lately has been in ebooks. So I read off my phone. ANything I want to highlight or a word I want to know about I highlight it and make cards/notes
I have a color coded way of highlighting and taking notes
green= new word to look up
red = exposition, and things about the story/content
yellow = dialogue between characters, I use this when its something that I find interesting a character or person says
Blue = A philosophy or ideology as well as quotes that I find interesting
so I am halfway through the Orphan X series and now on Book 3 its a good series. Book 2 was not as good as Book 1 but still decent. Book 3 looks to be promising I hope its not as stationary as Book 2
I am also looking to read V.E Schwab's Vicious, Duology. I am right now reading the sample of it

Just finished Vicious. The book was pretty good.
Nice twist on the superhero/superpower story
Interesting characters, story, themes etc overall good stuff
Only flaw is that climax is decent but will not be as grand as the book builds it up to be.
But this book 2 Vengeful hoppfully gonna change that. As it's the final one

this shyt was terrible. I didn't finish it and don't recommend it to anyone.
on the contrary, though. I'm currently reading the 5 Love Languages and it's great and I do recommend it to everyone that's in a relationship or wanting to be in a relationship or have been in a relationship.
I thought Wheel of Time was great, but so far this Stormlight Archive series is

With google books i can highlight a word and the definition pops up, i screenshot it and joy in down in my moleskin later, or just jot down a whole quote if i feel like it's giving me concepts for stuff
Yea i read that a couple years ago and felt the same, build up was crazy but the climax was pitched with a noodle arm

its like if the Naruto vs Saskue fight was the only crutial event that the series led up to(which it was, but dealing with the Akatsuki was also a obstace to overcome) and we were shown only a few punches to each others face then off paneling
we would all be like
What keeps this book strong tho, is the writing which is pretty spectacular, strong consistent themes, characters etc. And also just as important as the aformentioned it has a whole book left So all this added up is what keeps it from being trash to me, after that underwhelming climax.
If book 2 leads to the same result... yeah

IMO Auto Bio's are much better than books covering an whole organization.
