If you like crime fiction breh, google Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald podcast The Watch. Those dudes are obsessed with crime fiction novels. I know they recommend a lot of Elmore Leonard books.
cool, thanks for the suggestion
Finally finished Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. Book was dense as fukk but worth the read. I was skeptical at first but Brandon is definitely the leader of this generation of fantasy authors. His magic systems are always logical and fresh.
is the book any good, I am at this point open to read almost anything as long as its of quality

any good crime fiction novels that are contemporary

I heard of the The Dry by Jane Harper is that any good?

I have also been suggested The Short Drop
Recently read Ordinary Grace by William Kent Kreguer and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I dig anything by George Pelecanos and being from Minnesota I like the Virgil Flowers novels by John Sandford.
Laura Lippman and Michael Connelly (the Bosch TV series is based on his books) are 2 other writers in the genre who I regularly check for.

Goon Squad - Catset
currently im reading this
9781400095209

honestly its a lot funnier than i was expecting. kind of funny in a dark way, definitely not a comedic book. i recommend it so far.
i finished this one about a month ago
9781558615199.jpg

and that was :whew: so damn good brehs. its about an iranian woman who lives through the twentieth century and its fukkin crazy. takes about 50 pages to really pull you in but it gets off the chain. by the last 200 pages i was bringing it everywhere to read when i got a chance.
after i finish half of a yellow sun i think im gonna reread gravitys rainbow. i havent read it since 9th grade and i didnt really get it all the first time but i really liked it at the time

Africa, center of the world.
Has anybody here read An American Marriage? I finished it earlier this week and it was great... really felt like I was in Atlanta watching the whole story unfold.

Finishing Book 2 of Saga tonight

Finished Look at the Birdie by Vonnegut

Halfway through a book called Born to Run as well as Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Still need to finish House of Leaves that I put down about a year and half ago even though I don't have much left to go:manny:
