Recently read Ordinary Grace by William Kent Kreguer and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I dig anything by George Pelecanos and being from Minnesota I like the Virgil Flowers novels by John Sandford.
Laura Lippman and Michael Connelly (the Bosch TV series is based on his books) are 2 other writers in the genre who I regularly check for.
this actually changed my life and is one of the best books ive ever read

honestly its a lot funnier than i was expecting. kind of funny in a dark way, definitely not a comedic book. i recommend it so far.

so damn good brehs. its about an iranian woman who lives through the twentieth century and its fukkin crazy. takes about 50 pages to really pull you in but it gets off the chain. by the last 200 pages i was bringing it everywhere to read when i got a chance.
after i finish half of a yellow sun i think im gonna reread gravitys rainbow. i havent read it since 9th grade and i didnt really get it all the first time but i really liked it at the time

Has anybody here read An American Marriage? I finished it earlier this week and it was great... really felt like I was in Atlanta watching the whole story unfold.

i'm about 70 pages in and i'm probably gonna buy this one...shyt is just excellent. So well written. Its not just a book about the history of some shoes...its inspiration...its life.
And apparently Netflix just greenlit it for a series a few days ago.
