This is a very, very good book. It's somewhat like a cross between Catch 22 and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in terms of style and tone. Very highly recommended!

Just finished these...

It took me a bit to get into The Goldfinch. I started it a while back, but stopped reading it and let it sit on the shelf for a while. Glad I came back to it. Excellent book.

The Girl on the Train has some similarities with Gone Girl. Has a pretty good twist, but it was kind of a depressing book.

Modern Romance was a pretty quick read. Toed the line between both serious and funny subject matter. I liked it.

All the characters were so easy to hate. I still found myself rooting for Rachel's drunk ass.

Pretty much. The more that was revealed about each character, I was like, damn none of these people have any redeeming qualities.
