Books that you would recommend every young black male should read

I don't got any recommendations just pick the books you read wisely man. Folks be reading bullshyt, wasting precious time. If a book is wack after the first few chapters, you don't gotta finish it. Move to the next. Definitely use your 20s reading, less time watching TV.

Like people already said Autobiography of Malcolm X is mandatory. I'd recommend Assata Shakur's Autobiography as well, and Things Fall Apart.

Native Son and Invisible Man taught me white people are not black people's allies even when they claim to be.

Had me looking around my high school class at the white faces and feeling emotions I never felt before.

They should not have let a young breh read that!

incidents in the life of a slave girl should be mandatory reading for black men (and women). it gives horrific insight on what our women went through. short book but tough to get through for me.
