This is wrong as it relates to the two albums we are talking about. Hell, I'm from CA!
Nah... but regardless of where youre from your musical taste shows youre on the dikk of the east. Theres nikkaz like that everywhere, but they just dont make up the most of hip hop listeners. E1999 2nd release had probably the biggest single in hip hop history. and youre comparing it to some local NY albums

Not Top 5 but its in my top 15...it is flawless in every way, but it doesn't grab me like The Infamous, Low End Theory, Chronic, etc...Every album before it is flawless as well so its not a diss. Its still perfect

I liked the score. I havnt heard it in about 15 years, but from what I remember, I can say that its a classic. but top 10? HELL NO.

actually, none of those albums are top 10 in my book except bone, makaveli, cube & snoop.

those outkast and twista joints aint even classics.

its definitely one of the select albums that i'd consider as truly a "universal" classic..the others being:

MATW
makaveli album
Illmatic
Ob4cl
the chronic
doggystyle
It takes a nation of millions
Paid in full
By all means necessary
The diary
Ridin dirty (it was their best selling album despite not having a radio single or video)

"One Day" and "Hi Life" should have been the radio singles/videos off this album.

One Day was a radio single but Ridin Dirty is not considered a universal classic....many folks still don't give credit to Ridin Dirty for being a masterpiece

:ohhh: I didn't know it was a radio single. They should have made a video for it, as well as "Hi Life".

Yea I remember hearing it on the radio down here in ATL...it was the radio edit where 3-2 says "my mama's only son...and I live everyday...just like its my last one"

I don;t know why they didn;t make a vid for it

Maynes... I think I qualify as a non-biased hip hop listener, and certainly not on the dikk of the east... The Score was a great fukkin album... and truthfully I'd prolly kill Wyclef or Pras if they stepped foot on my doorstep. Especially Wyclef after I bought that bullshyt ass Carnival tape. That shyt is still on Lake Shore Drive somewhere.

Ny heads live and grew up in an absolute fukking bubble

Breed and quik are going platinum, let these guys tell it brand nubian was a bigger act

East 1999 is a much more universal classic than any wu joint, everyone fukked with bone on that one

:russ: thats what im saying :russ: how in the fukk the people on this forum think wu tang more known/popular than bone thugs n harmony to me is fukkin :mindblown:

back then people talked with album sales (different than now) and bone thugs came n crushed wu tang buildings in the 90s... and even in the 2000s :russ:

People talkin about Wu Tang got a more cult following :rudy: how come none of their albums push over 100k sales then :rudy: Bone Thugs N Harmony can at least say theyve gone gold even in this horrible sales times, because unlike Wu Tang they got a real cult following, but I guess wu tang sells more t-shirts :stopitslime:

and we aint even talkin about songs and actual rapping where bone thugs is 100x better than wu tang at
