He's been on the team for 10+ years and still hasn't had a placement with Em. I'm not holding my breath.
FWIW they've done 2 joints together. But none have been on Em's album.

Al made a post about how he stayed in Rick Rubin's guest house when Em was making the Revival album, and he was making beats every day based on what he saw outside the window, including the Location Remote beat. I think you're right. If Em hasn't used Al by now, and not even when Al was staying out there during the revival sessions??? It ain't happening. And honestly, fukk it. At this point I'd rather not even hear Em wasted over an Al beat. Give the beat to Gibbs, Benny, Roc Marci, or someone like that instead.

Edit: @LieutenantDan
Em passed on this beat too.

Yeah I remember both of those joints, it was dope for him to at least give Al a joint for his album though.

@TheDarceKnight it's funny eminem has an alchemist beat on his new album.
It doesn't even sound like it at al either. Crazy. I never would've guessed. I'm guessing he asked him to use no samples and/or a very specific sound, since Em has passed on some really classic beats that we know of (ie. Gangster and a Gentleman and Location Remote).

At least when Linkin Park used Al they kind of let him keep his own flavor in the mix

Real Talk...Eminem's production is what I think prevented me from being a real fan. I always respected and saw his talent but I never vibed with him musically. Even when Dre was giving him his sound. His skill set, to me is better suited for some ALC-type, dusty beats. IDK...:yeshrug:
