Word I played the shyt out of that ....didn't like his other projects

Beats on this album was fukking retarded shyt
I never even bothered to listen to anything else of Boldy's after hearing this album. Could tell he needed the right production to sound really good and there's next to nobody better than Al. My First Chemistry Set might be Alchemist's Mona Lisa. The production on it was absolutely brilliant.

yea i dug that project, i know Jay isnt a crazy skilled rapper but i like alot of music for some reason. Boldy's shyt was a combo of the production and him, i didnt love the beats and just coulndt get into him much
:mindblown:

You are my G until the end of time, but I cannot believe someone likes that Fantasy Island more than My 1st Chemistry Set.

Fantasy is in my bottom 3 Alc projects, and M1CS is in my top 5.

idk, never warmed up to it. i like the joint he has on Yacht Rock tho
Give it another shot breh. It dropped at one of the worst times in my life so I didn’t like it. I just wanted to hear Bandana P on every one of those beats. And it just reminded me of a terrible time. But I listened to it with fresh ears down the line and it grew a lot.

It’s definitely the hardest batch of Alc beats this decade. All 13 joints have drums and there’s even a joint with 808s all over it like Surprise Party. It’s got groovy loops like What’s The Word. Combo Hall and 400 Thousand are vintage Mobb type beats. Consideration is 80’s era Miami cocaine synth vibes. Traction is vintage 00’s Al with the 8th note chops. Bold and KY are vintage psychedelic prog rock flips. You Know is bugged out left field shyt. Rappies is vintage sped up soul.

It runs the gamete of Al’s production styles except for the drumless loop style. Boldy is clever too. He’s an underrated emcee. He actually reminds me of Prodigy in a lot of ways.

If anyone wants a sneak peak of the Benny joint and another joint (NOT high quality).

The flow on the 2nd joint is straight up ridiculous. Boldy was dope on M1CS but wasn’t emceeing like this.

EP this month
Album next year/month

Okay, so that beat is not the beat for the joint with Benny (which they also sot a video for.) I'm guessing the EP is gonna be like an appetizer, and the Benny joint and the video for that is being saved for the album that's dropping next month.

I know Boldy and Al recorded a TON of songs this year, so my guess is they thought it was too much material to drop on one project.
