Hey bro, just saw Ev post the below:

Hopefully I can get a copy!

Same here man. I have no idea how fast it'll sell. Ev has never done an exclusive vinyl before, so resellers might not really be that hip to his stuff. This was one of my favorite projects. Me and Ev have the same birthday and I remember he dropped it out of the blue on that day as a Zippyshare link or some shyt like that, and then he took it down after a couple of weeks. I don't know if he was worried about the Beatles samples or what, but it's never been on any streaming platform. And in interviews when he's asked about his solo catalogue, he never brings it up. I know pretty big Ev fans that haven't heard of this one.

Also, I really respect the Beatles' artistry and impact, but I've never been a huge fan. And even mores I've never been a fan of the "let's sample The Beatles" gimmick in hip-hop, but this is the one album where the samples were flipped in ways that didn't seem like they were trying too hard.

And lyrically he has already leveled up from Weatherman and Layover and was in his Cats & Dogs bag. Super dope project. I kept the new on the vinyl quiet because I didn't wanna raise the competition for it. :heh: Daps/rep for this. :salute:

Haha my man, yeah I didn't wanna share it but knew you'd be gutted if you missed it :pachaha:

I love the little interview samples he sprinkles throughout the EP, really brings the whole thing together.

He said it's only gonna be 350 and its a one and done due to the samples. I've got my alarm set so hopefully I get it, like you said Evs not known for exclusive vinyl so hopefully the resellers aren't hip.

Also I checked hiphopvinyls on Reddit yesterday and no one had posted about it. I think as long as we aren’t turtle slow we’ll be okay.

Breh, I had it in my cart, saw the shipping and thought I better add a tee to make it worthwhile. Went to check out and it was sold out :snoop:

Probably a good outcome cos shipping was almost as much as the vinyl.

:mjcry:

I'm sorry breh. I almost missed it. It was 12:57 and I looked and it was already up. I did Apple Pay and didn't fukk with a shirt and managed to get one. This was way pricier than I expected. But hey, Ev is a single father with medical bills living in SoCal. Get that paper my guy.

Edit: BTW @dubsmith_nz and me derailed the thread and we aren't talking about Tea in China. If anyone wants that vinyl it's an open pre-order, so no rush: The Price Of Tea In China: Deluxe Edition (Black 2xLP Vinyl)
