Spun this couple times so far. Like it better than TPOTIC off first listens. Love how Al put the Strictly Business drops on EPMD.

One thing I keep thinking of is how colorful this sounds compared to Tea in China. Boldy never has “happy” subject matter, but I can see myself playing Bo Jackson more in the spring/summer than Tea in China. Production wise I just think Bo sounds a little more vibrant and diverse than Tea in China.

Interesting. Al said it was his favorite beat on there. It probably will be an unpopular opinion but who cares right? I’m also glad they’re 2 separate songs. I like them better apart and with an extra verse each.

Yeah when the video for Turpentine/Steel Wool came out I remember instantly loving the former but when Wool came on I was just like….not one of Alc’s better beat switches.

@King A.D 7 I don't know what the deal is with Earl in his life right now, maybe his fans know, but I hope he's healthy. I didn't mind his verse on here at all, but there were definitely a couple parts where he didn't sounds as healthy as his old self on here. Some audible breathing and almost some slurred speech.

Alchemist is the GOAT producer and this only adds to his legacy. The production on this is phenomenal.

Boldy fits these beats like a glove; great album off the initial listen.

Excellent album, couldn't help to compare Benny and Boldy because they both dropped Friday and I think Boldy has the edge
