Daringers shyt hasn’t been hitting consistently for the last 2 years but I know what u mean. The reason y Gunns shyts dope is because of the reason you’ve mentioned
I completely agree. He's not been as dope the last couple years. His beats feel more muted or something.

The latest Rome album was really dope, but it didn't have truly standout beats from daringer, just solid beats that fit the overall vibe which is cool.

Looking forward to this hopefully it lives up to the previous records. But I have faith in these two more than any producer/emcee collab over the past 5 years. I have the last 3 collabs on vinyl can’t wait for the fourth.

Surprised by how good the Boldy & Craven shyt had been. I’ll be looking forward to their rumored third installment.

I would’ve taken this verse instead of Earl. How was the show? Worth the price of admission? Any notable tracks he performed?
Bro same here. I'd pay for a Photographic Memories version with the 2 Boldy verses and Roc instead of Earl. I think Earl's dope but his verse on that song was never my favorite.

Show was super cheap bro, so definitely worth it. It was like 35/40 bucks. He had more energy than I expected live. He started off strong but definitely slowed down a bit in the last 15 mins. He fukked up some parts on Double Hockey Sticks and he definitely left exactly at the one hour mark lol. He started right at 10 and was done at 10:59.

He had no hype man and hit all his words. Clear pronunciation, I actually appreciate him more as an emcee after the live show. I kinda thought it might be a weak show based on his laid back nature. Definitely no beat change ups or clever DJ tricks. Did every verse of every song he played. You should see him live if you can.

I was a little surprised by what songs got the loudest crowd reactions. Great Adventures got a crazy reaction, and apparently it's the most streamed Boldy/Alc song. All the ALC joints got big reactions, and half of the set was Jackson/Tecmo songs. The non ALC joints with big reactions were Straight and Tall, Designer Drugs, and Brick Van Exel. And man...Steel Wool was loud as fukk bro. Some of the loudest drums I've heard at a rap show. Hot Water Tank was thumping too, but Steel Wool was blow your eardrums out loud.

I also noticed all 3 of the V Don joints he did live sounded exactly the fukking same.

And on Brickmile to Montana he changed the words from "you gon have to blow me" to "you gon have to smoke me".

@Izanami I know I just wrote a book to you, but one last thing. Was my first time seeing a rap show where maybe like half the songs had the lighter drum vibe...it definitely changes the energy. It was less "hype" than a lot of shows I've seen, but as an older dude now it was kind of nice to just be able to vibe. Like the Craven joints? Especially Straight & Tall. These early college kids were trying to do TikTok type dances all night to the songs and it was super weird with this genre of rap
