Breh. I don't even know that nikka. I'm seriously just tryna get some context on the situation because as someone who admittedly does not know politics, U.S. influence here looks mighty suspicious, as if Nigerians cannot take care of themselves.

The only response I've gotten is that they haven't taken Libya's and Iran's oil yet so it should be all good. I can't understand how that's a good enough answer. I'd be more inclined to the theory that Nigeria is very open to outside influences, so U.S. covert operations would not be necessary, making the troops in Nigeria sincere act on behalf of the U.S.
