Opened a fidelity account and a robinhood account.

im putting all 7 grand into fidelity and gonna play around with RH


any suggestions on which MFs i should look into, or any other sage advice?

I been laying low not doing to much investing just adding to account tho. I have continued to buy silver here and there. My mutual fund game has been decent lately although i did move a bunch out of a fund when the market dropped a couple months ago.

Vanguard etfs. My betterment account has done quite well with them.


In fact, i recommend betterment's service if you arent sure.


I use RH for individual stocks, and etfs that betterment doesnt add to portfolios. (They fully are in the Bogle mindset of owning the index, than individual stocks/bonds.

I was 30 before I even knew what an IPO was (I'm 38 now). Getting started early would have been great. But at least I got started before I was 40.

My Mawer150 fund has done quite well for me. My individual picks? Aside from CSU haven't done nearly as well. I'm thinking about dumping all my other investments and putting it all into a 60/40 split on maw150/maw120. For a less risky option Maw104 is a solid choice.

Yes those are Canadian funds. Not sure if they work equally as well for Americans. But they are global funds so the diversification(including the US) is there.
