I did it last week. Some was in nasdaq and some in sp500 and a percent in international ...:mjcry:

Don you think I should pull my money out now?

I also brought MS stock monday

You pull your money out and that's it. Leave it and it'll get back to where it was eventually (hopefully). I find myself in the same situations at times. I would rather invest on these horrible days when there's no where to go but up.

You right.....I guess I have to get used to being patient....I've always kept my money in a safe fund and it seems like the second I moved it, the market starts sliding

Well one of the issues you may have is that your buying 3% below all time highs.

Its up to you and your risk tolerance. I always like the quote by Buffett where he says he'll buy a stock and wouldn't care if the market didn't open for another 5 years. That's how long term he's thinking. You may not want to be 100% in stocks either that may help you sleep a little better at night.

no...right now, its just unrealized loss ("paper loss"); if you're investing, stay strong on the long position (pause)....you sell now guaranteed loss

Gold still cookin..... wasn't someone short gold here.

:martin:

I've been talking shyt on it but I wasn't short. Gold makes no sense to me. I don't touch it.

The global economy is fukked and the only reason anyone would bid it is because of that.

We're coming to a head here and I hope its not this soon.

I still hate gold regardless of this bounce. You need another financial crisis to happen for it to go up more than this.

What's the upside $1200? unless you think its 2008 again.
