:mjlol:Watching them AMC tards squirm with blue balls will never not be entertaining.

gme, amc, and retail in general have accomplished a lot, no matter the end result. Helped save two companies, got public focus on illegal/manipulative moves by big money funds. Maybe helped get better margin call practices in.

:mjlol:At the end of the day I was right all along: The nikkas who got in early ate. All that other extra stuff is scammer talk trying to trick nikkas into buying they stock off of them and becoming a bag holder.

I still don't see how Gamestop makes it. I haven't stepped foot in one in years. When it comes to digital games I can just but on the console maker's eshops. Unless Gamestop can make a marketplace like Steam / Epic or transition to a different business model they're finished. Ultimately they're a middleman gamers don't need.

With AMC that debt is still crushing.

These companies have starved off their immediate downfalls but longer term it ain't looking all that great still.

Gme raised a billion dollars and got a bunch of talented people into the company. I think they’ll be fine longterm, if they execute.

amc, is definitely more of a short term play focused on short squeeze.

neither story is done. I got in amc earlier, so I can just sit and watch. There’s people outside of Reddit that think these stocks got hedge funds trapped. We’ll find out but it could take a while.

I'm genuinely interested in how they can compete with me logging onto my console and buying games directly from the console makers digital stores in a space where physicals game sales continue to decline. In the case of Microsoft it'll be all on Game Pass.

I don't really see many gamers suggest that Gamestop can turn it around. As a gamer myself I see no reason to really do business with them. Best Buy and Amazon offer me better value as a middle man to buy games from with better rewards programs. If not then then PSN, eShop, and XBL have stores.

I suppose they can try to be like Green Man Gaming and sell keys online but the company as it exist today won't remain. Green Man Gaming doesn't even have 350 employees. Gamestop probably has about 35,000.

Yeah i have been busier this week and just checking on bitcoin.. wtf happened this week with that?
China banning all mining talk caused some fud and crashed the whole market. They had a talk with some major Chinese banks and other big companies, I think alibaba was one of them and mentioned this even:

The People’s Bank of China said in a notice Monday that “virtual currency trading activities disrupt the normal economic and financial orders, breed the risks of illegal cross-border transfer of assets, money laundering and other illegal and criminal activities, and seriously infringe the people’s property safety.”
