good reports and the market gets sold off...probably due to trump and bessent's latest comments

at this point i wonder if they are purposely tanking shyt so the fed is forced to lower rates. they've said enough and done enough but seem intent on making things worse
debating with myself on what to buy and if now is even a good time. Got great positions already on some stuff, but I'm hesitant.... I'ma tell you right now: I'm not looking at making any major, non-market related purchases in the near future nor am I looking to refinance. Tell me how the fed effects me or people like me? Because what I'm seeing is folks futures eroding, but I'm not a pro at this so help me out

I been mulling selling some of my Apple position and putting it into either Amazon or Google. It seems like Apple is running on fumes and they have nothing. They'll just coast off the iPhone and services for it's users and they've had some flops lately like that VR headset.

lol, Apple does not seem to be very innovative at the moment but could be wrong, I don't keep up with them like that. Google has Waymo, Quantum etc. etc. Pixel etc. I love my Pixel phone.

I'm holding on to them based on the amount of cash they are sitting on. I dont see the younger generation switching to Android either.

If push comes to shove, I believe Apple will just buyout a new technology and make it their own.

sold all of my shares of apple, starbucks and palantir a couple of weeks ago. feels like apple is losing their growth story, palantir's valuation is just wild and starbucks just seems like a dividend company with below market growth at this point.

used most of my gains to buy amazon and salesforce a few days ago. was thinking of buying google but i feel more bullish on salesforce. amazon is a no brainer right now with their revenue growth and FCF and I plan to load up more on amazon soon.

I think mega growth for apple is over. Theres absolutely some safety there tho.

I think both amazon and google are good bets.

Palantir will eventually severely disrupt the CRM market. I just don't know when that will impact Salesforce.

I still think Nvidia is gearing up for another great run. Just the move from low $100's back above $130 will prove to be a great opportunity if you bought the dip.

Tesla is going through it right now. Being the largest company in the world by 2030 just been pushed back a few years at least.

The most slept on opportunity (of companies getting a decent amount of mention on here) is Rocketlab imo. Cap back below $10B. Larger rocket coning later this year. The anti elon movement probably put rocketlab in the room with companies that would have 100% went with SpaceX just 6 months ago. The new acquisition of Mynarics whom I haven't done a deep dive on them yet, but thing I seen mentioned a few times was they are an example of a company with a great product, but horrible leadership.

Remember, SpaceX is valued at $350B in an ever growing Space economy. Even 2nd place will be a huge opportunity.

But what will guidance look like? :to:

Yo...thats a great point.

I would say tariffs play on guidance will be slightly baked in depending on sector.

But even if its not...

The way I look at things right now. Every buying opportunity for us, is also a buyback opportunity for them.

Eventually the pain will end and EPS catches up and make everything right.

The more I see/know/experience, the more I understand why they say the real wealth is built during the downturns.

I dont deny its a good time to buy into blue chips. When companies give their earnings for the rest of the year, they may have to temper expectations for the immediate future. When that happens, things tend to sell off further. So I don't plan on going all in once this initial bounce happens, because I'm figuring things won't be bullish until these saboteurs are out of office.
