The crazy part is we are only down ~130 points from the highs on SPX .

Diversification now a days is corr of .9 instead of 1 apparently

I bought a put on PLTR for 24.50 expiring today. Do I have to sell to close today? (My first put option, so I'm still a newb on this shyt). I also see an option to "Buy To Open". What does tha tdo?

@Kenny West If what Uncle Bruce is saying is correct then would buying puts against CME be a good play?

They playing games with making new options contracts, the close dollar strike prices are expensive. And Its hella risky with the implications he went over and with how sideways we going.

If with Uncle Bruce says is going on the safest thing is to buy and hold shares and let these whales kill each other

buy to open, = buy to open a [larger] position
sell to close = sell to close your position

yeah this fukked me over this week because my SPY puts came nowhere close to covering Ls from the rest of my (tech heavy) portfolio. if i had bought QQQ or ARKK puts instead (or TLT puts?), i'd be pretty happy. now next time watch me buy QQQ puts as a hedge and SPY crashes harder instead... market is cruel
