Hey can any Coli breh answer this for me? So I have trouble knowing when to take profits and how to reinvest those profits.

Any good rule to follow or videos/articles to look up for this?

depends on what the stock is and what your investment thesis was. something like a penny stock or pump & dump, set a target percent increase or let you DD guide you to a price target, a blue chip like AAPL, TSLA, or Index fund you're holding long term, not until you need the money, a swing play - you should be looking at charts to know the typical price levels it swings between

Looking back on it what Chamath, Elon, and Marc Cuban did was disgusting. Now that the autopsy is being done they're discovering much of the Gamestop situation was Wall Street vs Wall Street even if retail kicked it off and when Wall Street pulled out the whole thing collapsed leaving retail holding the bag.

All three of those guys inserted themselves into the situation got s pop from it and dipped the fukk out. Them using their social capital into that situation helped boost it to retail. Hell Chamath was in and out in a day and used the proceeds for charity. It was play money to him and was a great photo op to boost his profile with millennials and younger people.

Some of these celebs aren't the saints they're portrayed as. They're totally opportunist who take advantage of whatever situation they can for their gain. Go back and look at WSB and those kids were citing each of those guys as heroes. Truth be told had the three of them stayed out of this it would have been better for all of the WSB crowd.

Not going to lie.... the similarities are funny....


One upon a time a group of MAGAs decided to storm the Whitehouse(wallstreet).

They were lead on by a false profit who did everything in their power to display that he wasn't like the "oldguard", his name was trump(Robinhood).

But when push came to shove, the false profit was finally exposed as his true allies were which was money.

The irony is that if people paid attention, it wouldn't take a catastrophic event to see the truth, this event was the Whitehouse attack ( robinhood telling em to fukk off).

Just like the dems have been screaming that trump a self-serving individual (people saying robinhood sells order flow).

And now they scream out fukk big tech (big tech).

and are now turning on their false profit trump (robinhood).

Both were so caught up in something in the name of "revolution" and finally feeling a part of they were unable to see the havoc they were rocking in their own lives (financial ruin/unemployability/ jail time).

I don't have any thoughts on Chamath/Musk but Cuban was really on some clown shyt. Did a whole AMA on WSB and some of his comments could've been interpreted as encouraging people to buy/hold...to the point that he had to later back off and clarify (Mark Cuban: I wasn't telling anyone to buy more).

The same argument can be made of cable TV. Most of the time nothing is on that's worth watching.

The problem with only producing high quality content is as much of it can't be made and at that point people will sub when they really want to see what you're making and drop it the other times you aren't making one of their shows. At the same time cord cutters need a default service to sub to at all times so they can have constant stuff to watch. That's Netflix. It's the cable TV of streaming services. They pump out so much content there's never nothing to watch. Sometimes people just run a show in the background to have noise.

At the opposite end of the spectrum is Apple who seems to make solid quality shows but can't produce enough of them to fully populate their service.

I transferred some assets from RH to fidelity...and it’s showing my shares as “positions held in margin” even tho I never did margin trading with RH...ultimately I will call fidelity and find out but a quick search says that all RH trading counts as margin trading on the low so idk how true that is
