Okay that’s what I was thinking. Just running off the steam of SoFi and Chamath himself

I’m in at 13 and some change, so I’m up about 20 percent. Thanks that will be good to keep in mind on how long I hold

If the acquisition is well received it'd probably pop to 20 off the headline itself I think 13 is a good price because there's not as much downside risk there

IPOD/IPOF are Chamath sympathy plays but I'd be a little cautious over the $15 mark because if the acquisitions aren't well received it could dip down to 11.

I saw a tweet yesterday which if I read correctly stated that when it comes to SPACs buying 500 shares at $15 is equivalent to the risk of buying 10000 shares at $10...I’ll edit this post with the tweet when I jump on my ipad...but it seems predicated on the same train of thought you’re sharing

IPOF interests me, it's a huge fund which means they can go after a great company, but that also means finding and closing a target is gonna take a min - the reason i didn't buy in before the run up. i wonder if IPOE/Sofi's performance will influence how fast IPOF signs a DA

sold all of my JMIA shares at 5x what i bought them for. i want the company to succeed and will buy back after i see some promising earnings reports and growth, but im not sure thats going to happen this year.

Yeah there's virtually no risk pre-merger if you are in when the price is still in the 10s... you can sit back and literally watch the money pile up. At $15 and no actual target yet I'm looking around like .... I'm a big Chamath believer but I'd like to see IPOF come down..

ya I’m digging the concept of SPACs a lot...somewhat reminds me of the ICO craze in crypto but far less risk...the biggest risk in getting in so early is time...you can buy into a SPAC at $10 and nothing happens for months if ever...but the same can be said for leaving my money in the bank

I can't complain because ethereum bounced back. sold some profits and bought more bitcoin. but EH. the one got away. it could've been my perfect short term stock. i had a room for it.

CCIV will continue to cool off if there's no news. IF you believe it will be Lucid it could present a prime buying opportunity. If you don't believe it's Lucid, well then it's worthless
