i would have to average annual 23.5% return in order to achieve 1 mil in 15 years with a starting balance of 19k and change. It's definitely doable.

I hear Biden talking about the days of Amazon not paying federal income tax will be over. How will affect the stock and any other company with these tax raises?

It's doable but not something I'd count on. If the average annual return is 7% or so you'll have to consistently 3x that.

If it was Bernie or Elizabeth Warren saying that I'd give it more credence. It'll probably be business as usual for Bezos

:dead: breh if you can get 23 percent a year for 19 years, you're the best investor in the history of wall street

Jeremy from FE averaged 25%+ past 10 years. :manny:

if you just invested in FAANG and TSLA past 10 years you would've easily achieved 30+% return.

A cheap growth stock? Apple.
Over the last 10 years, the shares of Apple have delivered an average annual return of 43.5% per year. This puts Apple at number 17 among the 2,700 stocks that I follow.

TSLA - 45.29 %
Tesla Inc (TSLA) Stock 10 Year History

so my goal depends on TSLA/SQ/FAANG/ARK(other top 4 excluding TSLA/SQ)' performance.

in the age of innovation, these stocks will continue to outperform the market. and I'll actively manage the stocks. If i fail, i fail. but ain't gonna stop me from trying.

oh by the way, my return from 7/9/2019 - 7/9/2020 is 75% :takedat:

peter lynch got 29 percent for 13 years and he's one of the GOATs

i'm a small timer breh. you cant compare managing 20k to somebody who manages 200bil. they gotta billions to protect. there's a reason why buffet won't touch anything speculative. he would never even bother investing in LVGO, FSLY, INO, NVAX, etc, etc. they will never tough IPOs. BIOPHARMA? what BIOPHARMA? They won't even touch them hoes.

i'm going with the big boys for now, but once i make enough profits, i'll actively add riskier stocks. again, my risk tolerance prolly 20 times higher those billionaire managers. a huge difference.
