It's typical but it's also risky. Whenever something is so beaten down like that, it gets beaten down to a certain point and then it's like okay this is too much and like Charlie says, for every overreaction there is typically another overreaction to follow.
Luckin Coffee was another one. I don't like playing around with risky business but there are often insane profits to be had.

I don't know what every breh is out here doing but I'm trading from a cash account, I don't borrow, I just use my own cash and then funnel it in and out, there are some small guidelines but there's not really a day trading rule that applies to me. I buy and trade in the same day all the time but it's not my preferred practice. I always make sure to have settled funds.
Typically though I will make a play on something the night before and then sell in the morning so it wouldn't even apply to this.

looked up at its in the 1.70s
