Shorts have really high holding costs (you borrow shares to short and have to pay interest on the borrow) so many can’t keep holding their shorts. That’s where you just got a nice pop after these guys said they’re diluting you to $2/share. The dilution really brings share price to around 3.5-4 for today but realistically should go back down to the $2 that they filed for today.
