I've been involved with RTX since it was called UTX before Carrier and Otis were spun off. I was looking for an aerospace company after I sold Boeing in the $380s and I settled on them. They've been good to me. I'm pretty heavily down though. My cost basis on Carrier and Otis factored into what I paid for UTX is down 25% and 26% and I'm down 14% on my cost basis of RTX from what it factored into from it's UTX days. There was a huge sell off before these 3 split. I'm thinking it'll be like Abbvie when they announced the Allergan merger and everyone was negative on them but now Abbvie is one of my best preforming stocks. Sometimes these dips happen and they make no sense to me. Bill Ackman was hammering the UTX Raytheon merger and pulled out and I guess people listened. Now it's crazy undervalued. Very good starting dividend yield.
UTX was a $130 or so stock before the merger / spinoff and fell into the $80s right before that crash.

Looks like we could see a pullback from yesterday but unless there's a huge selloff I might be on the sidelines for today..

Would not be surprised if there's a huge sell off when the markets open seems like no one invest anymore just like relationships is all about pumping and dumping.
My issue is I put too much into one stock so it was kinda taking all my money away. I didn't diversify and just couldn't take the chance. I also thought Powell 60 mins interview was gonna tank the markets on Monday but had the opposite effect apparentlyDamn everything is up.
