Wait till Thursday.....
I don’t think so. Everyone knows all earnings are gonna be terribleyou think it’ll be bad enough for it to dip below 9 again?
Did you place a limit order breh?Brehs I think I fukked up. I placed a market order with a 5% collar for some Boeing yesterday for $117. This was during after-hours trading yesterday through Robinhood. Still hasn't been filled. Given that the price is $125+ now, should I cancel and free up the funds and rebuy with another Market order? Would that go through immediately? New to this so any help is appreciated.
Market order will be the quickest to fill, and will guarantee an entry point. If you're not concerned with the immediate fluctuation in price then go for it.
On the other hand it may go down to your $117 bid and your order will get filled on the way down. Or not, and it continues to rise.
Your decision
your order won’t fulfill with current prices. You can wait for it to drop and fill or cancel and find a new entry. I’d cancel and find a new entry.
Boeing isn't going that much on Thursday tho.
Maybe $105 at best.
today is a complete jerkoffI just sold half of my Expedia shares to put it on other stocks later on.
Something tells me that today is fools gold.
0 revenue for how many days now?you think it’ll be bad enough for it to dip below 9 again?
agree. the powers that be not going to let it fail.Boeing seems like the best play now if you haven't entered already. Anyone disagree?
Market orders will execute during regular market hours and at market price , regardless of when it was placed (eg after-hours)Thanks brehs. Does placing a market order during or after trading make a difference? I only placed 7 shared last night after trading when it was actually around $111 ($117ish after collar) so I don't see why it didn't fill then, low volume and collar was within the bounds at the time.
If I place an order now will it likely go through immediately?
Yes it should. Also don't sell your boeing shares just because you were charged more, share price will go up in the future. Thanks brehs.
