Thing is, how low is it going to get?

good question. i'm not sure how low and no one knows but i think this is going to linger for the rest of the year at the minimum imo. supply chains got impacted hard and the CV is still spreading. i don't want to give you misleading information so if there's a stock you think is a good value then it's not a bad idea to hop in at this point. i know you like DIS so buying around this price is a good entry.

i'm personally going to wait a little longer. the FOMO is tough but just gotta stay strong.

Well the good news is that a lot of companies’ earnings will be hurt by lack of supply rather than lack of demand.

The bad news is we don’t know the extent to which companies’ performance will suffer and neither do the companies so despite many revising guidance to account for the coronavirus, they could very well miss quarterly earnings by magnitudes.

Additionally, if the market starts to soften not due to a one-time event but actual economic weakness, then we are off to the races.

Bernie probably won’t be president but he’d also be another negative dark horse impact to the market

Energy markets look absolutely brutal. This might push US shale into bankruptcy. Is Russia trying to kill us shale? The industry is in need of some consolidation but there is so much bad debt out there it's going to take some serious pain.

Havent posted here in a while but I have been trading. It has been a wild few weeks!!

ROKU - I have been shorting Roku for the past month and have been doing well. That company is a glorified platform and I expect that stock to drop to around 75 before settling. Dog Shyt.

BMRN - good pharm company that posted good numbers. They will be profitable this year and purchasing 100 options short term is something to consider.

TSLA - did you see how that 700 held this week? I did a short term option for 750 call next week. Elon gonna make sure the stock does not drop much more.

UAA - this is a big long term play. I am balls deep in July 10.00 puts. This company is a complete shyt show. SEC investigation, Domestic sales suck, and guess what - they were touting most of the profits will come from International Sales in Asia.
They are going to have a terrible quarter with the Corona virus. This is my next big short since I shorted Sears a couple of years ago.

AAPL - either Cook does a buy back of shares to keep the price where it is or I expect this price to drop about 20 bucks back to 270.

Microsoft is a stock I'll own for life.
Out of curiosity, why is that?

I'm looking to buy some shares as well, and that was triggered by my wanting to have a play in the live stream world (Mixxer), but being unable to go with Twitch because I can't afford Amazon stock right now.

I still gotta wrap my head around options.
I wouldn't suggest messing with options. It's all about buying the right to purchase a stock at a given price by a given time or sell if for a given price at a given time. It's basically short term gambling.

When you long term invest in a company because you believe in their vision or direction that's completely different than what you get into with options.

The good part about options if you can sell the options and play around with far less money. You might not have the money to buy 100 shares of Tesla inside the next 6 months but you can buy the rights to purchase it and sell those rights to someone else for example. The rights are fairly cheap compared to the price to actually buy the shares.
