For those who said "generic" "glossed over", I'm not sure what you wanted.
From the complaints I heard, it seems like all you really wanted was to see Freddie smashing other dudes
and snorting coke for 2 hours.

A darker atmosphere and approach would have worked, I still wish Fincher and Sacha Baron Cohen's movie got the greenlit.
