Dude is right about Nucky being one of the worst characters on the show. I only watch to see whats going on with everyone else.

He's really not the worst character.

Nucky is the man when he fukking quits simping...old girl getting blown up was the best thing to happen to him all season.

but when you have cats like Luchiano, Lansky, AR, Chalky and Van Alden dude seems so tame...

more scenes with Van Alden and his down ass Scandinavian broad and its already better than season 3.

Yeah I really like Nucky when it doesn't involve simping. His scenes with Eli , chalky ,eddie,Owen , harrow ,gyp, al and them him asking for
Margaret wasted too much time and her story went nowhere unless you like the abortion stuff or Nucky not being able to get help at the hospital

Why would Nucly need to be got ? jimmy tried to take him down and failed so it resulted in Jimmy's death . If he was his own man and not trying to let the commodore and Gillian control him that wouldn't have happened . Nucky called him for help in season 1 and then jimmy got greedy

That's the definition of powerful...

Season 3 definitely had its moments but there were way too many wack Margaret focused episodes which IMO made it mediocre...They trying way too hard to turn her into Carmela and it ain't working...nobody likes that bytch and you have way too many powerful characters to be wasting screen time on Margaret's petty rich white girl bullshyt...

i didn't mind the Margaret stuff that much because i was playing catch up at first so i was watching several episodes a night but i could see why it would have been frustrating watching it on a weekly basis... better to get that Margaret stuff out the way in season three because it looks like we might be this season from what has been mentioned in articles since S3 finished.

Jimmy was a dummy, plain and simple compared to Nucky, by learning under him like Lansky and Lucky learn under AR, he could have been great like those 2. He was never coming up, never not with his mom and father as council, so he makes brute force moves, that got him nowhere, all he had to do was pay Manny 5k , and he stalled on that. Dumb move. This era was the era of smarts, taking liquor and flipping it multiple times, using your guns only when you had too.
