You skipping over those scenes? You should watch them and pay attention to see how Chalky adapts to a new threat and how Dr. uses his new pawn Dunn.
The weak criticism for this piff season on the last few pages is lame af. Season is only 3 episodes in and hasn't been bad at all, yet we have people saying they're skipping parts that have some of the best dialogue?

Same thing I'm saying...the Dr. Narcisse shyt is showing signs of being some of the dopest stuff in the series so far
I thought his interaction with rothstien was interesting. He acted like the dude was beneath him. Another interesting thing is he is clearly running the numbers racket in Harlem. Eventually madam queen is gonna take over prolly his successor. If they introduce her character in this show it's curtains for narcissi.
I think they'll only mention her in passing & she may not be an important part of the show. If they are going by accurate history, then by 1922 she is already making a name for herself in Harlem with the numbers game....this season is set in 1924. I think the inevitable end of Dr. Narcisse will give her "sole control" over Harlem.
Anybody else notice no scenes with the young Bugsy yet? I wonder if he'll come later this season

I have a question on something that I noticed from this episode...
Seemed like they had an emphasis in lights/lamps throughout the episode. There were a ton of scenes where there would be sunlight beaming through the windows, but yet... every room had the lights on. Lamp shades illuminating as the characters went from room to room while the sun light was also coming in. Anybody have a take on what the symbolism was for that?
Only thing I can think of, is it having to do with enlightenment. Seemed like all of the characters in the episode had some kind of revelation about the characters that they were interacting with in the episode.
