i was literally when he started in with that woman. this again? as far as the eli storyline its just starting and may go in unexpected directions. but nucky is still the same as he evere was. i hope this bytch is at least more interesting considering she is already in the game.

best part of the episode is Narcisse and Rothstein dealing..great acting, expressions, everything.

I read that scene differently.

I saw their interaction as Nucky realizing that he can actually make bread there. He didn't respect the other cats because of his demeanor. But ol' girl gave him some knowledge and it clicked for him that he could run the booze through Tampa with the right connects. That's why he had a change of heart.

I don't think Nucky is simping this time. I think he's seeing what he can get out of this Florida situation. It seems to me like he was using her eagerness to be apart of the game to get information about what he would be dealing with down there. Nucky started to realize the potential to make big money down in Tampa.









But who knows. The simping might still run deep in his bones
