- I wouldn't have minded if they killed Harrow on time. But that last scene...showing us what could've been is

- Eli zoned out ….You could see the frustration leaving with every punch

- Dr Narcisse is an unscrupulous and hypocritical man. The nerve of having Purnsley beat that junkie for bringing the race down when you're selling dope to them

please explain the dr nasrcisses ending storyline for me....im confused.

you mean him bowing down to hoover? well, I think the feds had a beat on narr for a min. and the murder in the club was just an opportunity to bring him in since he was at the scene. still not exactly sure how he got the blame for anything involved there since his men were shooting and not him, but anyway- hoover's target is marcus garvey which is why he had been ignoring the other fed's hard on for nucky and liquor (i.e. bringing in eddie RIP & extorting eli). with that, when he brought cisse it seemed like an opportune time to press him about getting inside of garvey's operation since cisse is in harlem and DEEP w/I the "black diaspora" movement. and did he ever put the press on him promising that he'd never see the light of day again unless he became an informant.

personally, I thought someone who was portrayed to be as intelligent and void of sloppiness as narcisse would atleast wait to see some proof before he kissed the ring, but that dude did the knee drop, immediately...cism

i thought she confessed to killing someone that wasn't her son, which would incriminate her for the correct murder.

Hoover asked about the day he entered the US, that was all he needed right there since he was not a citizen and Hoover used that tactic on people who he said were commies, he used that on ll he his enemies, he used that say card on the lady who set up John Dillanger, he promised her that she could continue working as a brothel owner in the US if she helped out, she did and he still had her deported. The Dr got targeted for the shooting because Hoover is not stupid like Knox was, he knew who he was from the start, the boss always gets the charge, remember when Knox was asking for all that extra help to take down the meeting that Eli set up? Hoover told Knox to call director Hoover and not his first name because he knew that Knox was jealous and reckless and that the meeting was a bust from the start. Remember Nucky getting picked up and told about Knox being killed, he was surprised and then he got let go and you see Eli in Chi-town, Nucky had already cut a deal with Hoover, probably getting the charges dropped on Will and Chalky and exiling Eli for being disloyal again.

Chalky just going to be too depressed now. I'm pretty sure Chalky is going to be a broken man next season. There's no come back after that. I feel sorry for his wife and especially his son, who will probably be the one most devasted by Maybelle´s death. They were true best friends. Chalky was all sorts of dumb this season, and while he never felt respected by his family, he disrespected them right back not to mention he put them in awful danger.


I rewatched the goodbye scene and it's just too much. Richard was finally a normal man, kissing his wife and "son," seeing them off on a trip, making sure they had dining car vouchers. Even his father-in-law had accepted him. He finally got the life he had been dreaming about in his little vision book and not only does he die, he died with shame. Just devastating.
