Low key this season is rivalling the build-up of Season 2 with the Commodore, Jimmy and Nucky. Last season basically relied on Gyp Rosetti to carry the plot. They completely nailed it this season with the set-pieces, the vibe, the betrayals and that feeling that every single character is a piece-of-shyt deep down that will fold under pressure. No one wants to do whats right, and ANYTHING can be justified in the pursuit of $$$ and PRIDE. Thats what initially drew me to this show, how bleak and cruel these characters are.

The first two seasons conveyed that feeling really well and they finally recaptured it. Chalky is one of the most depressing and sad characters I can think of. Maybe the only one with any actual heart, yet he throw his family in the bushes. Dude is a fish-outta-water wherever he goes, cant even blame him. Knox is one of the most compelling villains theyve shown yet, he's really Van Alden 2.0. His "morality" is hidden behind his career but in reality he has zero morals and is completely fuelled by pride. I could honestly go on and on about how good this season has been

I'm glad gillian finally got popped off. there was no purpose for her character this season. too bad it took 11 episodes to find out what ron livingston (from office space's) character was there for.

That was a perfect example of how cruel and depressing this show is. The minute she finally begins to redeem herself, stop pathologically lying, do right and become genuinely happy with her life.........it all turns out to be a sham and she gets thrown in the bushes.

This jimmy stuff I don't get, you really think he was boss material or just hired help? I hated him because he was so weak as a man. Okay so what he had a troubled childhood but his father was rich and he could have been anything he wanted, he was in Harvard but he runs away and comes back as a flunkie , that's all he was nothing more than cannon fodder for the 20's . He could never be a Nucky or Capone . He didn't have AR vision or diplomatic skills of Meyer or Lucky. I am glad he died I was he would died in season 1 . Guys on this site thinking him and Harrow could run a crime group foh.

nah jimmy definitely wasnt boss material. as a goon tho he was excellent. his mom and dad got in his head and filled it with ambition and he was reluctant to become a boss cause he knew that wasnt him. he's like the Al Neri to Michael Corleone. Al Neri wasnt boss material but his murder game and his straight goonery was legendary. Another good example is Riverita to The Godmother griselda. Everybody is born with a role to play and you just have to accept it.

This episode made me lose quite a bit of respect for Chucky. You're mentor is straight up telling you that the bytch you with ain't shyt, her chicken is drier than grandmas p*ssy, and he still talking about running away with the bytch. Dog you got a wife and kids!

On top of that he lost his club and the whole north side. I know I'm reaching here but I think that checkers game showed how stupid chalky is. While nikkas sitting down ready to play the game he wants to go discuss his feelings like a ho.

Gillian is finally getting what's coming to here. She's done a lot of fukked up shyt and I don't feel for her one bit. I just hope the cop strapped up before he fukked that damaged p*ssy. Nasty slut. I wish my nikka Richard woulda called in the attack dogs or an ac-130 on her ass.

Last but certainly not least, Eli. Why can't this fakkit just play his position for once instead of always getting emotional and trying to double cross his brother. No loyalty at all. I get that Knox is a fed but them nikkas aren't bulletproof! Put a couple got ones in his face and get back to business. GOD! The part that makes me angry about all this is that all was forgiven and they were finally prospering in the family business, but Eli likes to sing like some light skin bytch named daughter so here we are.

Yeah, very much so, She's been in survival mode her whole life and, finally, when she can start to be "free" like she loses everything. The sobbing, the being held down and thrashing around and screaming. Very hard to watch and brought that image back. It brought back the memories of Gillian's rape by the Commodore, in that same, evil house and she's once again betrayed by hypocritical men.
